Park Hotel Pirin awarded “Green SPA Hotel” from the Bulgarian Tourism Awards

The event was held on June 14 in the National Palace of Culture, with special guests the Minister of Tourism Hristo Prodanov and the Mayor of Sofia - Yordanka Fandakova. An international jury in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and OP Tourism - Sofia determined which are the best hotels in Bulgaria this year.Park Hotel Pirin received the award for “Green/SPA Hotel” - recognition for the efforts, perseverance and tireless striving for development and innovation in the field of SPA tourism. The award was presented to Boyana Sharlopova, owner of the hotel chain Sharlopov Group.

The main theme of the event was with a focus on the Bulgarian tourist and the challenges of the 2022 summer season. “In the last two years, the covid pandemic has had an extremely negative impact on tourism and the industry has faced an extremely big test. Bulgaria often sounds to tourists as a place close to the war in Ukraine and that is why we make efforts to explain abroad how calm and safe our country is, “said Minister Prodanov. According to him, the most important tourist is precisely the Bulgarian, who has saved the seasons in the last two difficult years. During the discussion, the business offered different ideas and services to attract more Bulgarian and foreign tourists.
